Malina Suliman’s “crime” was to shade the wall structure of Kandahar aided by the graffiti of a bone structure wearing a good burka and the interpretation of an average Afghan entangled relating to an American neck tie knotted into a turban worn with the Taliban. She defied that Taliban for as long as this girl could. However the risks became widespread and after her own father’s thigh was busted in an breach, she had to leave her home town a couple of months previously and bring refuge inside Mumbai. ‘Un-Islamic art’ Ms Suliman, a youngest regarding eight sisters and brothers, recalls the starting of her stress last year. “I might paint graffiti on your rocks along with walls and they might throw gravel at people and condemn me and my friends. I would move to another spot but they would likely follow me personally there and also pelt me using stones. In Her sculptures annoyed conservative Muslims as well as the Taliban. Tesla CEO talks Model X, Gen 3, new markets
Tesla's Model X SUV is due by the end of 2014, the CEO said Wednesday.(Credit:Tesla)After Tesla reported better-than-expected earnings Wednesday, its chief executive discussed upcoming models and challenges the young car company faces. The Palo Alto, Calif.-based electric carmaker reported a second-quarter non-GAAP profit of $26 million, or 20 cents a share, beating an expected non-GAAP loss of 17 cents. That drove the stock price up in after-hours trading to $153 a share, up from Wednesday’s $134 closing price. Related storiesApple Mac hardware exec Doug Field departs for TeslaTesla taps AT&T to bring cellular connection to its cars Revenues were $405 million, beating the average analyst estimate of $383 million. Tesla announced that it had sold 10,500 Model S sedans in the first six months and is on track to reach a yearly rate of 40,000 by late 2014 as it expands into Europe and Asia. The 2013 Model S starts at about $70,000. During the earnings conference call, Tesla Chairman CEO Elon Musk talked about the upcoming Model X SUV, $35,000 Gen 3 car, and challenges as it enters new markets in Europe and China. Model X (SUV):We are hard at work on the Model X refining the design. We expect FUT 15 Coins to be in limited [volume] to deliver a small number of units at the end of next year and then volume production would [occur] in 2015. Model S for new markets:We FIFA 15 Coins have got right hand drive that’s coming out in the spring. Then there is the China version and actually there’s the European version…There is the Japan right hand drive versions. Also, in Europe, we are actually not trying to push sales very hard because if you order a car in Europe you are going to get it get it in, like maybe, November. So we really again need to improve our production. We need to make sure that the entry of the car into Europe is smooth, that people have a good experience with the car, that all the service centers are there, that the people are well trained. Gen 3 lower-priced $35,000 model:I see a fairly clear path to that vehicle. I have high confidence that we can create a compelling [car] for around $35,000, compelling meaning a 200 mile range. On challenges with suppliers:I feel like we are actually able to attract…A team on suppliers because whereas previously we had some trouble attracting A team from suppliers because they felt we wouldn’t be around long-term and we have that issue where [there were predictions] that Tesla would only ever sell 3,000 cars lifetime of the Model S. Then we sold that in, basically, the first quarter of production. On BMW’s electric car:Well, I am glad to see that BMW is bringing electric car to market. That’s cool. I think there is room to improve on the i3 and I hope that they do…I really do encourage other manufacturers bringing electric cars in the market because this is a good thing…that’s what’s going to result in humanity achieving a sustainable transport future. I wish it was going faster than it is. [Via Seeking Alpha]

FIFA 15 Coins cleaner decision to choose the correct lever to press. Invariably

Scientists link rats to real-world ‘Matrix’ via the Internet
These guys are, like, totally on the same wavelength.(Credit:Screenshot by Eric Mack/CNET)There is officially a Wachowski Brothers-style “Matrix” for rodents. Scientists in North Carolina and Brazil have connected the brains of two rats using “brain-to-brain interfaces” that can connect directly or via the Internet. These allow the rodents to share sensory information, collaborate on tasks to earn rewards, and fight back against the shadowy and cyber-apocalyptic forces that have enslaved them. There’s actually no evidence of the latter, but I’d still suggest researchers watch out for any rats that start displaying a propensity for martial arts.Hollywood franchises aside for a moment, the experiment FIFA 15 Coins was conducted by basically training one “encoder” rat in a lab to press a certain FUT 15 Coins lever (represented by a certain color) to earn a food pellet as a reward. A copy of the brain activity behind that behavioral decision was then translated into a pattern of electrical stimulation that could be transported directly to another “decoder” rat’s brain. That decoder rat was then able to press the same correct lever and receive its reward 70 percent of the time without undergoing the same training or receiving any other visual cues about which lever to select. Related storiesGoogle scientists find evidence of machine learningLab-engineered lung tissue lives on in ratsProfessor to ‘hack’ into Stephen Hawking’s brainAs if that wasn’t freaky enough, the brain-to-brain communication between the two rats was two-way and the encoder rat didn’t get its full treat if the decoder rat made the wrong choice. This twist led the rats to actually work together.”We saw that when the decoder rat committed an error, the encoder basically changed both its brain function and behavior to make it easier for its partner to get it right,” Duke University Medical Center neurobiologist Miguel Nicolelis said in a statement. “The encoder improved the signal to-noise ratio of its brain activity that represented the decision, so the signal became cleaner and easier to detect. And it made a quicker, cleaner decision to choose the correct lever to press. Invariably, when the encoder made those adaptations, the decoder got the right decision more often, so they both got a better reward.”Just to prove that rats don’t use some sort of whisker-based sonar that we haven’t yet decoded, a similar experiment was conducted with two rats attached to brain-to-brain interfaces, but separated by thousands of miles. The brain-to-brain connection in this case was held together by sending data over the Internet. The researchers found that even with the associated noisy transmission and signal delays, the distant rats were still able to work together to get fed. This is what rodent cooperation looks like.(Credit:Duke University)Turns out, there is a point to all this beyond just playing Dr. Frankenstein. “These experiments (PDF) showed that we have established a sophisticated, direct communication linkage between brains, and that the decoder brain is working as a pattern-recognition device. So basically, we are creating what I call an organic computer,” Nicolelis explains. So now that we have created telepathic rats, what’s next? Why, networked brains, of course!Nicolelis believes it could be possible to connect more than just two brains together to form what he calls a “brain-net.”And you thought the “Matrix” reference was just link bait.”We cannot even predict what kinds of emergent properties would appear when animals begin interacting as part of a ‘brain-net’,” Nicolelis said. “In theory, you could imagine that a combination of brains could provide solutions that individual brains cannot achieve by themselves.”This stuff isn’t quite in the realm of totally nutso-mad-scientist fodder, however. Some of the possible practical applications include helping us to better understand the social interactions between animals, and recording networked brain signals could also be beneficial to current research aimed at restoring motor control to paralyzed people. But I still think it’s a good idea to keep Bruce Lee flicks out of the view of any brain-networked animal. The researchers have published their findings in Scientific Reports. Nicolelis describes the experiments in the video below.

The FUT 15 Coins Facebook chief operating officer, whose new book “Lean In” aims to inspire women to work to the top of their industries, has made roughly $44.3 million in the first three months of 2013 from a number of Facebook stock sales, including a few transactions earlier this week, as documented in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Since the start of the year, Sandberg has sold roughly 1.57 million shares for the $44.3 million gain. In her most recent trades this week, Sandberg sold 176,452 shares at prices ranging from $25.80 to $26.67. The transactions are valued at about $4.6 million. The 2013 running FIFA 15 Coins total doesn’t include a massive December 2012 sale in which Sandberg offloaded 946,588 shares for a value of $26.2 million. FIFA 15 Coins the brain is rinsed with sodium dodecyl sulfate

See-through brain lets scientists spot the connections
Neurons in an intact mouse hippocampus visualized using Clarity and fluorescent labeling.(Credit:Karl Deisseroth and Kwanghun Chung)Studying the brain can be a tricky business. The interesting stuff, such as neurons and how they communicate, is obscured by things like fatty tissue. Usually, scientists just cut it up into paper-thin slices to study, like with Einstein’s brain, but a team of scientists at Stanford University, led by Karl Deisseroth and Kwanghun Chung, have found what the director of the National Institute of Mental Health Thomas Insel is calling “one of the most important advances for doing neuroanatomy in decades.” The new technique lets researchers leave the brain intact, which puts an end to the damage that slicing can cause. It involves infusing the brain with acrylamide, which binds the proteins; once heated, it polymerizes, preserving the important molecules. Then, the brain is rinsed with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) detergent, which strips the fatty lipids, leaving intact the proteins that the researchers wish to study.Related storiesView Einstein’s brain under a microscope, piece by piecePictures: Fashion tackles brain diseasesObama unveils $100 million brain research project Called Clear, Lipid-exchanged, Anatomically Rigid, Imaging/Immunostaining compatible, Tissue hydrogel (Clarity), this technique leaves behind an almost perfect model FIFA 15 Coins of the brain’s pathways, ripe for fluorescent labeling. They also traced individual nerve fibers through half-centimeter-thick slices of a human brain that had been preserved in formalin. Clarity can be used to study the brain more deeply than we ever have — for example, comparing the brain of a subject with a neurological disease to a healthy control brain, a study that is FUT 15 Coins impossible on living subjects. Galling?(Credit:Sorikan/YouTube screenshot by Chris Matyszczyk/CNET)There will never come a day when you have truly seen it all. As living proof of this belief, might I offer you this footage from the security camera owned by Mark Anderson of LaGrange, Ga.Anderson had set up his home technology primarily to monitor his disabled mother. He linked it to a private YouTube account. However, when he took a quick look at what was going on at home from his desk at work, you might imagine his incredulity. For there was a USPS delivery woman bringing a package to his door. There was one small issue with her method of delivery. In order, it seemed, to make it easier to get to Anderson’s front door, the USPS driver had maneuvered her truck straight across his lawn.Anderson made the footage public to only 10 people. But FIFA 15 Coins then it appeared on Reddit and soon, on YouTube, where it was noted: “The package was not heavy in any way, and yet this woman made the decision to do this.”He said he recorded this footage using open-source iSpyconnect software with a Panasonic camera. He told The Blaze that he’d like the USPS to reprimand the woman in some way.More Technically IncorrectKanye to sue YouTube founder for posting Kardashian proposal video?Woz: No, no, I wasn’t criticizing the new iPads10 reasons why you should ignore tech posts that begin with ’10 reasons why’SNL skewers Obamacare Web site, suggests low-res versionGod exists, say Apple fanboy scientistsHe added, however, that “I don’t want someone to lose their job with the way things are these days, but she shouldn’t have done that.”This isn’t the first time delivery staff have been caught by home security cameras in the act of something slightly awkward.Who can forget the stellar on-camera performance of the UPS courier who tossed a Zappos package and then gave the camera his largest digit? Then there was the FedEx delivery man who was caught tossing a Samsung monitor over a fence. There does, though, seem something a touch indolent about driving over a lawn so that you don’t have to walk a few more feet to deliver a parcel.Indeed, a USPS spokeswoman told me: “We are very sorry for the conduct of this letter carrier, who has now been identified. This behavior is obviously not acceptable and is being addressed. I definitely want to add that the majority of our employees are incredibly hard-working individuals who go above and beyond the call of duty daily through all sorts of weather and obstacles to deliver our nation’s mail and FUT 15 Coins packages. We are all saddened by this video.”There is no record of whether any of Anderson’s herbaceous borders were damaged in this incident.

FUT 15 Coins workers at the Oskarshamn plant had removed the jellyfish from the pipes

Sweden faces its own shutdown: Cause? Jellyfish
Found in most ocean waters, moon jellyfish feed on plankton and can grow to be up to 16 inches across.(Credit:Luc Viatour/Wikimedia)As government Web sites in the US go dark, the National Zoo panda cam shuts off, and NASA’s AsteroidWatch tweets fall silent, spare a thought for poor Sweden. It’s grappling with its own shutdown, one that’s threatening its electricity supply. A nuclear power plant that provides 10 percent of the county’s power has been operating at reduced capacity. The culprit? Not bickering politicians, but waves of jellyfish that flooded the plant’s water intake pipes. Specifically, tons of moon jellyfish besieged the Oskarshamn nuclear plant in southeastern Sweden on Sunday, forcing a shutdown of its unit 3 reactor. Related storiesShutdown will largely shutter NASA, other science projectsNational Zoo’s panda cam falls victim to government shutdownDismantling Fukushima reactors will take decadesThe 1,400-megawatt boiling-water reactor is the largest in the world, according to operator OKG. It’s similar to the ones that suffered catastrophic meltdowns at the tsunami-hit Fukushima Daiichi plant in Japan in 2011. By Tuesday, workers at the Oskarshamn plant had removed the jellyfish from the pipes, which take in water to cool the turbines. A restart of the reactor was expected. A real-time display of output from the plant’s three reactors shows 385 megawatts from unit 1, zero at unit 2 while it undergoes regular maintenance, and zero at unit 3 due to the jellyfish. “The function of the cooling water in the condenser is to cool down the steam so that it is reformed in to water again, and subsequently brought in to the reactor vessel,” OKG FUT 15 Coins said in a release. “This cooling water has no connection to the cooling of the reactor vessel.”"It’s true that there seems to be more and more of these extreme cases of blooming jellyfish,” Lene Moller, a of the Swedish Institute for the Marine Environment, was quoted as saying by Phys.org. “But it’s very difficult to say if there are more jellyfish, because there is no historical data.”This isn’t the first time that Oskarshamn has been sidelined by jellyfish. But they’re only the latest woe at the plant. Unit 3 has experienced a number of problems recently, including leaking cooling water in the generator. “On 1 September, a control valve in the conventional turbine system caused the initial shutdown of the operation at O3,” OKG said. “This was followed by problems with another control valve in the FIFA 15 Coins turbine plant and a failure in the protective equipment of the facility’s transformers.”Jellyfish don’t mix well with nuclear power plants, but they do make for relaxing viewing. Tablet shipments to surpass all PCs by 2015, IDC says
Apple's iPad Mini(Credit:CNET)The tablet market FIFA 15 Coins should top all laptop shipments this year and the entire PC market by 2015, according to a report released Tuesday. Related stories:PCs hit by an ugly quarterly drop as Windows 8 flopsAcer to launch Win 8 tablets with smaller screens this yearCNET’s take on the iPad MiniThe best tablets Market researcher IDC estimated that tablet shipments will grow 59 percent this year to 229.3 million units. That’s higher than IDC’s estimate for notebook shipments this year. Topping that, IDC predicts tablet shipments will surpass the total number of notebook and desktop PC shipments in 2015. “Tablets surpassing portables in 2013, and total PCs in 2015, marks a significant change in consumer attitudes about compute devices and the applications and ecosystems that power them,” Ryan Reith, program manager for IDC’s mobility trackers, said in a statement. The traditional computing market has fallen under tough times recently, hurt both by cautious spending and the growing popularity of mobile devices. Many consumers are opting for smartphones and tablets instead of buying new PCs, and that has led the PC market to fall sharply year over year — down in the double digits on a percentage basis — in the first quarter. The market is expected to slump for all of 2013. Meanwhile, IDC on Tuesday said the average selling price for tablets is dropping. Apple’s iPad started the tablet craze, but lower-priced devices are gaining traction. This year, the global average selling price for tablets should drop 11 percent to $381, FUT 15 Coins about half the average PC price of $635. At the same time, tablets with smaller screens are gaining traction in the market. Within two quarters, the sub-8-inch tablet category overtook the larger-sized segment in terms of total shipments, IDC said. In 2013, IDC predicts, 55 percent of tablet shipments will be in the smaller-screen segment. In 2011, only 27 percent of tablets were below 8 inches. By 2017, the percentage should rise to 57 percent, the firm said.

FIFA 15 Coins Predict the applications and commands you want to use and launch them for you

Should you wait for the mythical Motorola X Phone?
Motorola X Phone can read your mind, claims the maker.(Credit:http://www.tinhte.vn)With the Samsung Galaxy S4 finally getting into the hands of some consumers, we must once again return to that persistent question that smartphone and gadget lovers never stop asking: what’s next? With word that Apple won’t be releasing any new hardware until the fall and the HTC One and Galaxy S4 just released, the answer seems to be “not much” — at least not for the next few months.Related storiesCan a build-your-own-phone save Motorola’s bacon?More Google Motorola X Phone rumors emergeAndroid rumor round-upHowever, dancing on the far edges of the horizon in this summer’s blockbuster smartphone void is a magical unicorn of a device whose legend grows stronger and more far-fetched with each passing day — and with each hyperbolic comment loosed from Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt’s lips. I am speaking, of course, of the mythical Motorola “X Phone.”We’re coming up on two years since Google bought Motorola Mobility, and the much-anticipated fruits of this acquisition will be “phenomenal” to hear Schmidt tell it.Combine that kind of hype with the FIFA 15 Coins summer smartphone dearth and a general hunger for new mobile devices and we have the ideal breeding grounds for technological unicorns, the ridiculous consummation of a marriage of circumstances enabled by a full bar of rumor cocktails. If we’re to believe all the rumors — and Schmidt’s hype — Google’s first big Moto phone will (deep breath): Predict the applications and commands you want to use and launch them for you; always be in “listening” mode to be ready for your voice commands; come with an optional wood exterior; run Android 5.0.1; come ready to connect to other fantasy devices, like Glass and a smartwatch; have a touch-enabled button on the rear casing to launch commands; not be a Nexus- or Droid-branded phone; have an “unlockable” bootloader and SIM; and have eight cores; be heavily subsidized and offered at a relatively low price for a flagship device.Seriously? Are we talking about a real-world phone here or Voltron? “Combine your X Phone with your Google Glass, smartwatch, and Dragon rocket and join Elon Musk for brunch on Mars.”It’s hard to imagine all these things coming together into a relatively cheap phone by the end of summer. Rumors this far out from the target date tend to move quite a bit and we could be seeing some deliberate leaks to test the waters, but really, who knows. With Google I/O coming up, we soon should have some more information to gauge these rumors, but the question still remains: Is it worth waiting to buy a new phone in case it comes true?It FUT 15 Coins kind of depends where you are in your contract and your eagerness to upgrade. If you’re looking to get into a new Android superphone right now, I say don’t wait. The HTC One and the GS4 are as good as it’s likely to get for some time. There’s no guarantee the X Phone unicorn will ever gallop, particularly in the form described above. But if, like me, you’ve still got more than six months left on your contract, I think it’s worth waiting to see if unicorns really can fly.
